Golden Tornado legendary golf coach Ronny Aldridge says there are two secrets to a hole-in-one.
“One, you’ve obviously got to have some luck, and two, you’ve got to give yourself a lot of opportunities. I’ve had both,” Aldridge said.
According to Wikipedia the chances of an average golfer making a hole-in-one are 12,500 to one.
At age 78, Aldridge now has 15 holes-in-one.
He aced the par-three, 160-yard hole number seven with a five wood this past Thursday at Lamesa’s Municipal Golf Course.
“This was the second one I’ve hit with a five wood,” Aldridge said.
