The Borden County Coyotes wrapped up their 13th straight district football championship without even taking a snap Friday night.
The Coyotes were scheduled to finish the regular season Friday night at Gail against Wellman-Union. But due to COVID 19, the Wildcats forfeited Friday night’s game.
By going 4-0 against their four Division I District 4-1A opponents, where they outscored their competition by a combined score of 180-24, Borden County won its 13th straight league crown.
During that 13-year stretch the Coyotes haven’t lost a single district game.
