Dora Cervantes

    Funeral service for Dora Cantu Cervantes age 65, of Lamesa, TX. will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Branon Funeral Home Chapel.  
    Burial will follow at Dawson County Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Visitation will be held Friday, November 6, 2020 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel.  Facial masks are required at funeral home and cemetery.
    Dora passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2020 in San Angelo, TX. 
    She was born July 23, 1955 in Ennis, TX. to Felipe and Maria (Aguero) Cantu. Dora loved life…cooking for her family, music, dancing, but most of all she loved her grandkids. 
    Dora is survived by her children; Mark Cervantes and wife Sandra, Effie Hernandez and husband Sammy, Rhonda Garza and husband Arthur, and Kalija Beck and husband Devin, all of Lamesa; sisters, Romalda Rivera of Boerne, TX., Maryland Cantu of Midland, TX, and Mary Reyes of San Antonio, TX.; brothers, Pedro Cantu of Lubbock, TX., Alvino Cantu of Lamesa, TX., Crespin Cantu of Midland, TX. and Rene Cantu of Lamesa, TX.; and eight grandchildren.  
    Dora is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Henry Cantu.
