Klondike took a successful first step in the Class 1A volleyball playoffs Thursday at Dimmitt by spiking Fort Elliott Briscoe, 25-20, 25-17 and 25-17, in a battle of the Cougars.
“Tonight wasn’t our best volleyball but we still got the job done. It didn’t always look very pretty but our girls did a great job of still pushing through when things weren’t falling for us,” Klondike Coach Niatha Cullen said.
“Even in our rough patches, our girls did a good job of picking each other up and playing Klondike volleyball.”
