After getting 45’d at the half of last year’s game against his high school alma mater Borden County, O’Donnell Eagle coach Fernando Baeza had hopes of giving the tradition-rich Coyotes a better game Friday night at Gail.
Baeza’s Eagles did at times – especially early on – but unfortunately the game didn’t last much longer.
Borden County took a huge step toward winning its 13th straight district title Friday night at Gail by plucking the Eagles, 62-16, in a Division I District 4-1A match-up between two of the top-ranked six-man teams in the state.
