Andrews ISD to suspend remote learning option
ANDREWS – Come early November, remote learning through Andrews ISD will be a thing of the past.
School officials, citing poor academic performance among a large percentage of students in virtual learning, announced early this week the district will end its remote option next month.
A letter from Andrews ISD Superintendent Bobby Azam regarding the topic was sent to parents this week. In the notice, Azam addresses the virus issue, stating the district has had a low impact with cases so far this school year, which also factored into the decision of suspending remote learning.
