A total of 210 residents of Dawson County currently have active cases of the COVID-19 virus, according to the latest information from the South Plains Public Health District.
Data available on the district’s website on Wednesday morning shows Dawson County has now had 762 confirmed cases since the virus officially made its debut here this past March.
That is an increase of 96 cases in the past week – a figure that is more than double the 45 cases confirmed here over a period from from March through late June.
Thirteen new cases were reported on Tuesday.
