    Funeral services for Gloria U. Garcia age 70 of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday October 19, 2020 at the church House of Prayer with Pastor Lee Iglesias officiating. Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery.
    Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. Facial masks are required at funeral home and church. Due to the current area Covid-19 situation we continue to practice public safety measures.
    Viewing and visitation will be held at Gonzales Funeral Home on Saturday October 17, 2020 and Sunday October 18, 2020 from 9:00a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with Inspirational Services at 7:00 p.m.
    Gloria was called home by her precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday October 14, 2020 while in Odessa, TX. 
    She was born on October 11, 1950 in McAllen, TX. Gloria was married to Juan Garcia until his death on September 7, 2016. 
    She was preceded in death by husband, Juan Garcia, Sr.; her grand-daughter, Brittany Hernandez; her father, Venustiano Uresti, Sr., and her mother, Benita Uresti.
    Gloria loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed making people laugh and she loved God with all her heart.
    Gloria is survived by her daughters, Benita G. Rosales and husband, Peter Rosales, and Barbarita G. Hernandez and husband, Jesse Hernandez, all of Lamesa, TX.; Juan Garcia, Jr. and partner Rogelio Godinez of Houston, TX., and Ricky Garcia and wife, Victoria Rodriguez of Lubbock, TX.; her sisters, Sylvia Uresti of Midland, TX., Lydia U. Aguilar of Lamesa, TX.; her brothers, Juan Uresti of Yuma Arizona, Venustiano (Jr.) Uresti, and Robert Uresti, both of Lamesa, TX., David Uresti of Thorton, Colorado; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
