The O’Donnell Eagles didn’t have much trouble starting their bid for the Division I District 4 sixman football championship Friday night at Whiteface as the they rolled to a 56-8 victory over the Eagles.
“Whiteface started out doing some things which gave us fits early but our guys kept playing hard. We ended up doing a lot of good stuff tonight,” O’Donnell Coach Fernando Baeza said.
“We started district tonight. It’s always good to have that first one underneath your belts.”
The win improved the Eagles’ season record to 5-1.
