A recent surprise state review at Medical Arts Hospital determined that an anonymous “immediate jeopardy” complaint against the facility was unfounded, according to Letha Stokes, the Dawson County Hospital District’s chief executive offcer. “All allegations were unfounded,” Stokes said in a report during the hospital board’s regular meeting on Thursday evening. Stokes said the review found “no deficiencies” in multiple policies and actual procedures which were looked at by a representative from Texas Health and Human Services and the Department of State Health Services.
