Klondike’s high school volleyballers put together one of their better matches of the season on Tuesday at Cougar Gymnasium, and it probably couldn’t have a better time in the eyes of head coach Niatha Cullen.
By spiking Class 2A Post, 25-16, 25-18 and 25-21, the Cougars now find themselves in a three-way tie for second in the District 3-2A standings. Klondike, Post, and Aspermont each have 3-2 league records. Plains leads that pack at 5-0.
“Tonight we played Klondike volleyball. We finally played up to our potential again,” Cullen said. “We played real well as a team. We played with good energy.
