Kevin Putman

    Kevin Ben Putman of Lamesa passed away with family by his side on Monday, September 21, 2020 at the age of 49. 
    He was born December 19, 1970 in Lamesa to J. W. and Diane (Baker) Putman. Kevin grew up in Lamesa, graduating from Lamesa High School in 1989. After high school he pursued his interest in Culinary School, discovering his love of Mexican food. He traveled state to state exploring new adventures. When settling down, Kevin worked most of his life as an insurance agent.
    He was a devoted family man who formed deep relationships with close friends. One of his favorite past times was riding around in his red corvette listening to music.
    Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Chelsea Putman and friend Ali of Estes Park, Colorado; parents, J. W. and Diane Putman of Lamesa; and brother, Kyle Putman and wife Berenda of Lamesa. Kevin also leaves behind his beloved nephews, Shawn Putman and wife Emily and their son, Holt of Greenwood and Jared and wife Kayla and their children, Brooklyn and Tegan of Lamesa.
    Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mae and Odes Anderson and Rosie and Jess Putman.
    A come-and-go visitation will be from 1:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Combest Family Funeral Homes of O’Donnell. 
    Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 25, 2020 at First Baptist Church O’Donnell with interment to follow at the O’Donnell Cemetery. Masks will be required to attend.
