Some people had to be wondering just what O’Donnell Coach Fernando Baeza was thinking this week. Baeza’s Eagles were originally scheduled to host to Springlake-Earth Friday night for the Eagles’ 2020 homecoming but due to COVID 19 the Wolverines had to pull out of that game. Baeza filled that opening with the Jayton Jaybirds who were ranked fourth in this week’s Division II state poll. The Jaybirds were 35-point favorites to crash the Eagles’ homecoming Friday night at O’Donnell.
