    Graveside funeral services for Roman Jimenez, age 91, of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday September 21, 2020 at the Dawson County Cemetery with Father Chacko Thadathil officiating.  
    Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Roman passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 in Lamesa. He was born on August 9, 1929 in Mexia, Texas.
    Roman was preceded in death by his parents, Severiano Jimenez and Tomasa Cervantes; his daughter, Theresa Jimenez; his sisters, Carmen Bara, and Esther Minjares; his brother, Nito Jimenez.
    Roman is survived by his son, David Jimenez of Lubbock, TX.; his daughters, Sylvia Sierra of Lubbock, TX, Betty Jimenez of Abernathy, TX., and Monica Jimenez; his brother, Jesse Jimenez of California; his sister, Virginia Rodriguez of California; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several relatives and friends.
