ACLU wants Texas schools to change dress code for hair BROWNFIELD – The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Texas sent a letter on Wednesday, September 2, to nearly 500 independent school districts across the state asking them to revise dress code policies that it says are “unconstitutional and discriminatory.” All three Terry County school districts are on the list to receive this letter from the Texas branch of the ACLU.
