Election officials expect a big turnout for the presidential and general election Nov. 3, though they are not seeing a horde of new voters registering to vote.
The elections will determine who resides in the White House, as well as who sits on several county government seats and in the water district.
Many local incumbents seeking county spots are running in uncontested races.
“This is a presidential (election). We are anticipating a heavy voter turnout.” said county clerk Clare Christy.
