Editor, I just wanted to say how much I have enjoyed Dwight Heins’ articles on Lamesa athletic greats of the past. I Dwight is one in a million, and the Press-Reporter won’t be the same if he ever retires. I had the honor and privilege of being on the same fi eld with Harvey Everheart and Tommy Doyle in Little League, high school, and American Legion baseball. Both were great athletes who went on to become even greater men in their adult lives. There were a couple of misprints in the article on Harvey.
