Lamesa’s City Hall is closed to the public until Monday, Aug. 21, as the result of a city employee testing positive for COVID-19, Mayor Josh Stevens announced in a Facebook post on Wednesday morning.
Drive-up services at City Hall will remain available during that period, however
Stevens said city officials were notified Tuesday evening about the positive COVID case involving a city employee. He said the affected employee had not been at work since the previous Friday, Aug. 7.
