Dawson County and cities in the county have been allocated a total of more than $700,000 in federal funds to reimburse them for unplanned expenses related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The major part of that total, $484,880, has been designated for the City of Lamesa. Dawson County has been allocated $199,430. Other municipalities in Dawson County which have been allocated funding are: Ackerly, $12,485; O’Donnell, $45,430; and Los Ybanez, $935.
