The Dawson County Public Library will host a virtual field trip through South Plains Printing on Tuesday at 2 p.m. on the library’s Facebook page as part of the Summer Reading Club. Head Pressman Mario Dimas and Assistant Jesse Barron will conduct a tour of the local newspaper printing process. Not only does South Plains Printing print the Lamesa Press-Reporter, it also prints newspapers from O’Donnell, Tahoka, Seminole, Andrews, Brownfield, Snyder, Stanton, Slaton, Gail, Abernathy, Crosbyton, Idalou and other locations, along with several school papers.
