Welton Dwayne Smith

    A Memorial service hosted by the family for Welton Dwayne Smith, age 58, of Lamesa will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at the ranch starting at 12 Noon. 
    Funeral arrangements are under the care of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Dwayne passed away on Saturday June 13, 2020 in Lamesa. 
    He was born on October 4, 1961 in Little Rock, AR. 
    He was preceded in death by his mother, Regina Smith, and his father, Welton Smith; his sister, Lynn Hock.
    Dwayne was a Salt Water Specialist at Parsley Energy. He enjoyed Bar-B-Q competitions, elk hunting, fishing, wood working, and fantasy football. His real passion was cooking for family and friends.
    Dwayne is survived by his brother, Joe Smith of McKinney, TX., and his sister, Patricia English of North Little Rock, AR; his nieces, Addy Mims of Waco, TX., Emily Smith of Eugene, OR., and Elaine English of Little Rock, AR.; his nephew Ben Smith and wife Dorrie Smith of Eugene, OR.; numerous relatives and friends.
