A pair of grant proposals will be considered by members of the Lamesa City Council during their regular meeting Tuesday evening.
That meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
Council members will hold a public hearing and consider action near the outset of the meeting on a proposal to apply to the Texas Department of Agriculture for a Texas Community Development Block Grant for a Downtown Revitalization Program.
City Manager Sean Overeyender last month discussed the possibility of seeking a grant of up to $500,000 to help fund sidewalk, lighting and other improvements for an area reaching about a block north,
