About 80-90 attend peaceful George Floyd march, protest
BROWNFIELD – Amid the protest and riots going on in major U.S. cities because of the death of George Floyd, some citizens of Brownfield decided they would have a peaceful protest to honor him.
Local citizen Ashley Simental set up a peaceful protest via social media in honor of Floyd and those who have died from police brutality. The march began around 6 p.m. and went to the Terry County Courthouse.
