    A Catholic funeral mass service of Christian burial for Augustine Ricardo Cardona, age 54, of Lamesa will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday June 11, 2020 with limited gathering at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father John Steven Rathinam officiating. 
    Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. 
    Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.

    In response to the Covid-19 situation, and as mandated by State and local officials, service gatherings will be limited.
    Augustine Ricardo passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020 in Lamesa. 
    He was born on December 28, 1965 in Lamesa. He was employed by Cavazos Metal Works in Lamesa as a professional welder.
    Augustine Ricardo is survived by his family, his two sons, Ricardo Augustine Cardona and Lee Augustine Cardona, both of Midland, TX., his two daughters, Cg Cardona of Midland, TX., and Clarissa Cardona of Dallas, TX.; his father, Augustina Cardona of Lamesa; his mother, Dominga Cardona of Lamesa; his three sisters, Estella Vara, Cynthia Cardona, and Dorothy Flores, all of Lamesa; his grandmother, Susie Medrano-Garcia; eight grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
