Although it is located more than 350 miles away, Gun Barrel City is becoming something of a pipeline to Lamesa when it comes to economic development leadership.
Sean Overeynder, who served as executive director of economic development here for almost two years before being named the Lamesa City Manager in April, had been at Gun Barrel City before coming to Lamesa.
