The makeup of the Lamesa City Council saw a slight change Tuesday evening with newcomer Luciano Reyes taking over the District 3 seat on the city’s governing body. That came after the council declared Reyes and current council member Douglas Morris, representing District 6, as elected to those positions without opposition. Reyes fills the position held for the past three years by Rick Moreno, who opted not to seek re-election.
