Grant proposals and a plan to temporarily reduce the speed limits on two key roadways through town are among the matters facing Lamesa City Council members this coming Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in City Hall.
At the outset of the meeting the council is expected to formally declare incumbent Doug Morris in District 6 and newcomer Luciano Reyes in District 3 as being elected without opposition.
With Morris returning to his position, Reyes will take the District 3 seat which has been held for the past three years by Rick Moreno.
