Action taken by the Dawson County Commissioners Court on Tuesday will allow a company which has been doing work at the courthouse in recent weeks to immediately begin two additional projects there. Members of the court approved a discretionary exemption from the state’s bidding laws in order to allow Copper Shield Group and Chris Moreno to perform almost $21,000 in additional work at the courthouse.
