Local golfer Cody Hogg recorded his first-ever hole-in-one last Friday on hole number nine at the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course. Hogg aced the par-four, 310-yard hole with a driver. Witnessing the event were his wife Hailey, Michael Hatchett and Jerry Hogg. Lamesa Municipal Golf Course Superintendent Victor Dimas said holes-in-one are somewhat rare on that hole. “If I remember right this is only the second one on that hole since I’ve been here and I’ve been out here 12 years now,” Dimas said. ...
