Three people were injured and a Lamesa man was arrested as the result of a shooting incident here Saturday evening, according to the Lamesa Police Department.
According to a report from Police Chief Dale E. Alwan Sr., officers responded to the 300 block of N.E. 4th St. about 9:10 p.m. following multiple reports of gunshots being fired in that area.
After arriving, police located three victims with gunshot wounds.
Alwan reported the victims were identified as:
•23-year-old Fernando Ulises Barnes of Lamesa;
•34-year-old Ramon Angel Urbina of Lamesa; and
•32-year-old Fidencio Eldemiro Regino of Big Spring.
All three reportedly were taken by ambulance to Medical Arts Hospital.
