A “Safety in the Sanctuary” training workshop which the Lamesa campus of Howard College was offering here in April has been postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. That workshop, a training session focusing on church safety, has been delayed until later in the summer, according to Monica Castro, director of the local campus. “We will be reaching out to those people who have expressed interest with a new date as soon as it is scheduled,” Castro reported. ...
