The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Tuesday, March 24 1:39 a.m. - A male was arrested following a traffic stop by police at N. 4th St. and Bryan Ave. 11:14 a.m. – Police were informed of a man with a gun in a black SUV in the 1000 block of N. 17th St. An officer made contact with an individual in that area and then reported a male running south from that location and a male in a black Chevrolet Impala.
