Lamesa High School teacher Rusty Oaks is seen hands bags of food Friday to a parent and students at the front of a line of autos at Middle School to pick up meals for children now being provided by the Lamesa Independent School District. Superintendent Jim Knight said about 8,200 meals were distributed Friday to serve children through the weekend.
