Lamesa’s lone movie theater has been shut down by the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Mike Roy, manager of the non-profit Movieland, said the theater closed its doors last Wednesday, March 18. “I always felt like the theater would be the first to go just ‘cause the number of people and the proximity of them,” said Roy.
