City council members are scheduled Tuesday to begin interviewing applicants for the vacant city manager’s position here. A special called meeting of the council is scheduled for 5 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, with another such meeting at 5 p.m. on Thursday. The only item on the agenda for each of those meetings is for the council to go into a closed session for interviews of city manager applicants. Council members are not scheduled to take any action in either meeting.
