The Lamesa school district has extended spring break for students through March 27 and will then implement distant learning that will keep students out of the classrooms through at least April 10.
The modifications to the school schedule — as a result of the current COVID-19 Coronavirus outbreak were approved by the school board in an emergency meeting on Thursday.
