One of the most popular events during Lamesa’s Chicken Fried Steak Festival is the annual car show that attracts car enthusiasts both young and old. Jaime Galindo with the Nuestro Car Club of Lamesa is spearheading this year’s event along with other members Rick Casillas and Jorge Galindo. “We’re looking for 40 or 50 entrants this year,” said Jaime Galindo. “That has been about the average the last couple of years but we could have even more.” Entry fee is $20 per vehicle.
