The Golden Tornadoes’ baseball squad put two more games into the win column in this week’s Levelland Tournament.
The Golden Tors are 4-6 on the year – quite an improvement from last year’s 1-24 finish.
“Right now, we feel like we can compete with anybody. One of the best things so far is how we can hit up and down our line-up. Because of that, we never feel like we’re out of anything,” Golden Tor Coach Bobby Alvarez said.
The Golden Tors held off Slaton, 10-8, Thursday in their first game of that tournament.
