Borden County’s basketball boys finished one of their most successful seasons in school history on a sour note Tuesday night at Slaton.
Ranked third in the state, the Coyotes couldn’t have found a more inopportune time to have an off shooting night than against No. 21 New Home. It’s the Leopards now advancing to this weekend’s Region I-IA Tournament with 42-27 regional quarterfinal victory.
Borden County finished at 30-3.
