A sudden change of plans this week has resulted in Sean Overeynder being tabbed to serve as Lamesa’s interim City Manager. Overeynder, who has served as director of economic development here for the past year and a half, was named to the post Tuesday morning, according to Mayor Josh Stevens. Overeynder said he will continue with his economic development duties but will be based at City Hall during the time he is serving as interim city manager.
