The Dawson County Jail is back in compliance with state standards, Sheriff Matt Hogg announced at Tuesday’s meeting of the Dawson County Commissioners Court. The jail had been out of compliance since an inspection last summer. Hogg said all but one of the issues discovered during last year’s inspection by the Jail Standards Commission had been fixed immediately.
