Lanette Hogg

    Funeral service for Lanette Hogg, 75, of Lamesa will be held Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Medley officiating. 
    Interment will follow at Dawson County Cemetery.
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2020 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
    Lanette passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020 in Lamesa, Texas. 
    She was born November 6, 1944 to John and Lillie (Payne) Seales in Kermit, Texas. She married Kenneth Hogg June 9, 1961 in Lamesa, Texas. She was a church secretary for many years. She was very involved with all church activities. She loved singing in the church choir and was a Sunday school teacher. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. 
    Lanette is survived by her husband, Kenneth Hogg of Lamesa; daughter, Deann Bond of Lamesa; son, Greg Hogg and wife, Donna, of Lamesa; grandchildren, Alex Hogg of Lamesa, Clayton Bond of Lamesa, Bailey Brown and husband, Landon, of Lamesa, and Brittney Corman and husband, Stetson, of Burlington, Colorado; great grandson, Kennon Hogg; brother in law, Nelson Hogg and wife, Cheryl of Lubbock; sister in laws, Barbara Stone of Lubbock and Jerry Tarbert of Lubbock; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Johnny Seales and Lynn Seales.
