Dawson school board members are scheduled to consider adopting a calendar for the 2020-2021 school year during their regular meeting this coming week. The board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the board room at the school in Welch. Board members also will consider the contract of Superintendent Layne Sheets and the annual certification of teaching materials. In his administrative report, Sheets is slated to discuss facility upgrades, the teacher incentive allotment through House Bill 3, and the new University Interscholastic League districts for football and basketball.
