Lamesa’s junior high basketball girls finished their season on a high note Monday at Sweetwater by winning all four games against the Mustangs. The Golden Tornadoes’ eighth grade A team finished at 8-7 after holding off the Mustangs, 32-24. “Our girls played a good game. They played hard the whole game,” Coach Gerry Woodberry said. “I’m proud of the way that they finished the year.” Members of that team were Sadie Barron, Riley Davis, Reagan Derington, Fashaa Edwards, Alexiah Hernandez, Zoey Lugo, Kennedy Martinez, Aliyah Morales, Savannah Moreno and Sagen Oaks.
