The Golden Tornado softballers had their first scrimmage of this season this past Saturday at Snyder. Afterwards, Golden Tor Coach Vanessa Hernandez admitted the team’s showing against the Tigers was somewhat deceptive. “We didn’t do too bad out there but Snyder really wasn’t very good either. They basically threw JV pitchers against us,” Hernandez said. “We still made some mistakes which we’re glad that we made now instead of later.
