The Sands Mustangs swept Garden City Tuesday night in a District 7-1A twinbill on the Bearkats’ home court.
Sands’ girls, who jumped to fifth in this week’s Class 1A state poll, are now 28-3 after rolling to a 57-29 victory. The Mustangs are now 8-0 and remain alone at the top of the 7-1A standings going into the final two games of the regular season.
With the win, the Mustang girls clinched a playoff berth.
