A Candidates Forum for hopefuls in the upcoming primary elections will be hosted by the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce on Feb. 13. The event is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at the Forrest Park Community Center. While the forum will feature the candidates in the contested races for Dawson County Sheriff and County Commissioner of Precinct 1, the unopposed candidates for local office in the March 3 primaries also are invited to participate.
