Klondike’s Aaron Young is now three-for-three when it comes to high school power lifting meets this season.
Previously bringing home the gold from meets at Big Spring and Colorado City, Young won top honors in the 220-pound weight class last Saturday at Coahoma.
“This weekend turned out pretty exciting since it came down to his last lift,” Klondike Coach Dalton DeGraffenreid said.
Young won the meet by lifting a total of 1,395 pounds. He squat lifted 500 pounds, bench pressed 360 and dead lifted 535 pounds.
