Members of the Lamesa school board accepted the annual financial audit, extended the superintendent’s contract, and handled various other items during their regular meeting last Thursday.
“You have a good report,” local Certified Public Accountant Kim Bairrington said in presenting the financial audit for the 2018-2019 fiscal year.
She reviewed various aspects of the audit, including a comparison of how the school did in comparison to its budget.
“Nothing was over budget,” Bairrington said. “Everything was good – no big variances.”
She also said she found no problems with the school’s internal financial controls.
