Zula Coleman

    Zula Iris Coleman, 90, of Ackerly, passed away Friday, January 24, 2020.
    Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, January 27, 2020 at Trinity Memorial Park Peace Chapel. She will be in state from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Sunday, January 26, 2020 at Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home. 
    She was born September 7, 1929 in Ackerly to H.C. “Bud” Shortes and Jazy Homesley. She was a member of the Ackerly United Methodist Church. She has been married to Dudley Ray Coleman for 73 years.
    She is survived by her husband, Dudley Ray Coleman; her son, Michael Coleman and wife, Sharon; her daughter, Joann Coleman and husband, Mike; 2 granddaughters, Kenzie and Kim Coleman; great grandson, Colton; and 2 nephews.
    In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Lymphoma Center at M.D. Anderson Hospital, 1515 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX 77030.
